Golf Day 2025
Autumn
is upon us. The light in the leaf-strewn undergrowth beneath the trees at
Hersham is dappled. Finding one’s wayward ball is challenging. But we gave it a
good go.
There
were no losers on the Strollers Golf Day, only winners. But the sleeve of balls
to the least-winning participant went to Brad Trebilcock. Longest drive went to
Tom Wood and Tom Salvesen was nearest the pin. There were eight winners with
scores <=29.

A
tremendous effort from Tom, who bagged a pineapple (who needs another pitch
mark repairer or towel?). Special mention goes to Jonny, whose 32 was scored
off a handicap of four. And many happy returns to Dave Knight. A good turnout
for an enjoyable day. We will do it again at Hersham next year provided it
remains unsold.
