How to get there: Go round the M25 and leave at junction 13, taking the A30 signed for Bagshot and Egham. At the next roundabout follow signs for Basingstoke and Camberley. Stay on the A30. Past a BP petrol station on your left. You eventually pass The Wheatsheaf hotel on your right at a set of traffic lights. Shortly after these lights, you take the A329 off to the right towards Ascot.
As you approach Ascot, you go up a steep hill. Past the Mikado bar and restaurant (beware, it keeps changing its name!) on your left and over the hill. Down the hill and into Ascot.
At a roundabout, turn right down Winkfield Road, the A330.
The racecourse appears. [On Winkfield Road there are some brown signs for the Golf Club to follow from that road, and then once under the underpass they sometimes put out some temporary signs to the cricket].
You go down an underpass, then up again. Take the next right turn, signed to Ascot racecourse facilities, and then turn immediately right again. This road loops round and underneath the main road. Follow this road; it turns sharply to the right and along to a junction where a white fence faces you. Take the first track on the left here; a very sharp left-hand turn. The ground is down here.
It is all very confusing to find. The best way is to put Royal Ascot Cricket Club into Google maps and it will stick a pin in for you.
