Gala Dinner
Bookings are now being taken for the Fleet Street Strollers’ 50th Anniversary Dinner. It is being held in the Long Room at Surrey County Cricket Club (The Oval) in South London. We will also have the large Fender Room with a bar if the weather is poor, and a bar behind the Long Room which has an outdoor terrace overlooking the Edrich Gate, if the weather is glorious. We can also organise a visit to the Oval Museum before the festivities start. Our members say it's well worth it. There is no charge for this. We will be having pre-event drinks, a three-course dinner with half a bottle of wine per person, mineral/sparkling water, tea /coffee/petit fours. Our charity for this event is A Chance to Shine. We are in discussions with them about speaking opportunities at our dinner. We would love you to be there. The dinner is on Friday 12th June. It is £110 per head.
